Belgonucleaire designs and supplies systems for the treatment and
conditioning of nuclear waste. The company helps to choose the strategy of conditioned
waste and end of nuclear fuel cycle strategies (reprocessing, final storage,…) .
Manufacturing
of equipment for MOX plants
Belgonucleaire designed and constructed its own MOX fuel plant. Based on
this experience, Belgonucleaire participates in the construction of other simular plants
and is involved in programmes to neutralize the surplus plutonium, resulting from the
dismantlement of nuclear weapons.
